Privacy policy

Data controller: Jose Carlos Espi
Contact: jcespi22@gmail.com
Purpose: to answer enquiries sent through this website
Legal basis: the consent you give when you submit the form

What data I collect

Only what you type into the contact form: your name, your email address and your message. There is no other form or sign-up on this site, and I do not collect any special category data.

What I use it for

Only to read your enquiry and reply to it, and to follow up on that conversation if we end up working together. I do not use it to send you marketing, I do not build profiles with it, and I do not sell it or pass it to third parties for their own purposes.

How long I keep it

For as long as the conversation lasts and, if we work together, for the periods required by Spanish tax and commercial law. If nothing comes of it, I delete the messages once they no longer serve a purpose. You can ask me to delete them sooner at any time.

Who else processes it

This site is hosted on Netlify, which also handles the form submissions and stores the messages received. Netlify is a US provider and may process the data outside the European Economic Area, under the safeguards provided for by European data protection law.

The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts and shows videos hosted on YouTube. When the page loads, those services may receive your IP address. The videos are embedded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, so no tracking cookies are set unless you choose to press play.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or advertising tools. The only cookies that could ever be set are YouTube's, and only if you play one of the videos.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability at any time. Just email me at jcespi22@gmail.com telling me what you need and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

If you believe your request has not been handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

Changes to this policy

If the way I handle data changes, I will update this page and the date shown above.
